Salted Caramel Whisky Truffles June 02 2015
A few weeks ago we launched our unique whisky truffles. There are lots of other whisky truffles available in the marketplace but being The London Chocolate Company we wanted to create something a little different. After testing a single malt whisky in a variety of ganaches, caramels and milk, white and dark chocolates; we added a little sea salt to our home made caramel and finally blended the silky mixture with a measure of whisky. Finally we piped the mixture into a dark chocolate shell and dusted the truffle with fine cocoa powder.
